We leave this lovely island tomorrow morning for the hurly burly on the mainland. We have had the best two days thanks to Onesimus (look him up!). His name means "he is useful to me" and so he has proved, and been a great delight in every way - our guide and driver and mentor in all things Cheju! We have fared sumptuously on a feast of good things, especially seafood.
We ate supper this evening laughing at a sign we had seen above a hairdresser. The establishment was called "Hair Bog." Onesimus loooked up the word "bog" on his mobile dictionary and was mortified by its slang meaning! He then spent the rest of the meal conjecturing what it could mean. Suddenly an idea: he thinks the owner must have instructed the sign writer to put HAIR VOGUE but Koreans can't say V!
